The Integrated Retail team was on the ground at this year's Indonesia Retail Summit and Expo, one of the region's key gatherings for retail operators, brand owners and technology partners across Indonesia's fast-growing consumer market.
Most of our conversations on the floor circled back to two themes: retailers with 50–500+ stores looking to move off fragmented, store-by-store systems onto a unified platform, and a growing, practical interest in AI — not as an abstract initiative, but for specific problems like stock optimisation and personalised in-store recommendations.
We also spent time walking retail and consumer goods teams through how a systems integration layer like Globriq fits alongside existing POS and ERP investments, rather than requiring them to be replaced — a question that came up often enough that it's clearly a live concern for multi-brand retail groups across the archipelago.
Thank you to everyone who stopped by to talk shop. If you were at the summit and want to continue the conversation, our team would be glad to follow up.
